Vander

Vander is ever bit the example of a great boxer. Beautiful headpiece, smooth rich mahogany brindle coat, nice balance and angulation, good topline, and has great movement. A little slow to mature, he still has a little ways to go, but I am so happy with how he is turning out. (With his Daddy Sherman's genetics and mannerisms, I expect him to do very well when he does finally mature.)

Vander has the most awesome temperament. Very easy to live with, happy, confident, not an aggressive bone in his body. I have dogs that come and go, (dog sitting, rescues, etc) and he welcomes all other dogs with no questions. (This is pretty amazing being that a lot of unaltered males get very territorial and do not tolerate others on their turf) He loves all people, and is great with kids. He definatly has his little bouts of energy, like all boxers, but knows when it is appropriate and when it's not. He is not overly "soft", (soft being sulky or pouty when learning something new or being corrected) which is also a very nice attribute, as many boxers are extra sensitive and are slower to train due to their "soft" dispositions.
